GROUNDED RESOURCES

Education, ideas and resources to help you get through life.  Isn’t living life a constant learning journey? cool You want the best for your kids and your family. Grounded resources deal with life, learning & entertainment.

Some of these resources were discovered during countless hours of research for my child.

Living resources include tools and tips to stay grounded in God’s Word, safety and ways to build resources that contribute to your family financially.

Learning resources can be used for homeschool journeys or after school journeys tailor made for parents who want to be involved in fun, safe educational activities with their kids!

Entertainment resources typically intertwine with the above 2 resources. Making wise choices for free time and fun can also help keep us in the right mindset to truly live life abundantly grounded in His Word.

LEARNING RESOURCES

Easy Peasy All In One Homeschool

I highly recommend checking out and using this FULL, FREE curriculum from Pre-K to Highschool. The mom who made this while homeschooling her kids decided to make this a ministry to provide a free full curriculum to help others homeschool. It can be used on it’s own, or you can pick and choose what you need.

Pureflix

We subscribed to Pureflix several years ago. Recently we tried it again and were so excited to see how many new, bible based entertainment and education shows they have now! I will be referencing Pureflix when I talk about great media we’ve used to keep our child (& us for that matter!) Grounded in God’s Word!

Drive Thru History

My daughter and frankly, my family really enjoy watching Dave Stotts bring history to life. Drive Thru History Adventures and Drive Thru History provide entertaining and informative programs that spand US History, World History and Bible History. All based on a biblical world view. We have been subscription members, purchased materials and watch them on Pureflix. I highly recommend them!

ABC Mouse

We used ABC Mouse often during the Pre-K through 2nd grade years. It’s a great program. We are currently trying out the older version, Adventure Academy. I will repost after we have used it enough to recommend or not.

The God Rocks

Great Christian Kids programming and music. My daughter has loved these shows and the music since she was 3. She’s 11 now & still loves them. (So do I!) Great music with Bible verse lyrics. They have a Facebook page and can be found on YouTube.

Homeschool Buyers Co-Op

You can get GREAT DEALS AT THE CO-OP on award-winning homeschool curriculum. You can save up to 93%! Homeschool Buyers Co-Op helps homeschool families get the kind of bulk discounts that school districts get when purchasing. They also have a lot of great freebies & homeschool ID cards!

Green Ember

My 11 year old daughter still loves the Green Ember series by S.D. Smith. Once she started this first book about these adventurous rabbits, she could hardly put it down. It was the first book that she took off on with independently.

Life is unpredictable. We all face challenges as we try to walk with God and His Word while modeling this for our children. Here you will find different subjects that help us cope with issues that face us as we “run our race”.

Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.
